We welcome Dr Mitchell Wierks and Dr Larissa Steidle to the Crossroads Family Practice clinic.
Hailing from Chilliwack, Dr Wierks completed his training in Ireland followed by Family Medicine
residency in Labrador and is now taking on Dr Cam Ross’s practice. He is passionate about full
scope general practice, and aims to provide patient centred care in acute, chronic management
and preventative medicine. His approach to care focuses on listening, building trust relationship
and helping patients make informed decisions about their health. Beyond medicine, he enjoys
exploring the BC great outdoors with his family. He is grateful to be here and excited to become
a part of the Chilliwack community again.
Dr L Steidle grew up in Chilliwack and is excited to be working in the community as a family
physician. She enjoys providing comprehensive care for patients at all stages of life. Larissa
also provides maternity care and enjoys supporting patients throughout pregnancy, delivery, and
the postpartum period. She completed her residency program locally and is thrilled to be joining
the team at Crossroads in a practice share with Dr Low. She looks forward to caring for the community she calls home
